Updated: 2026-10-14 Nano Banana is Google’s Gemini image generation and editing family. Create images from text, or provide a reference image and refine subjects, colors, and composition through follow-up instructions. Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, and Nano Banana 2.1 are now available on BetterToken.

Choose a model

The corresponding Google models are gemini-3-pro-image, gemini-3.1-flash-image, and gemini-nano-banana-2.1. Use the BetterToken Model IDs above in requests. Start new projects with Nano Banana 2.1, then compare Pro for work requiring finer composition and detail control. For an existing Nano Banana 2 workflow, compare 2.1 using the same prompts.

All three offer 1K, 2K, and 4K. Nano Banana 2 and 2.1 support 14 aspect ratios; Pro supports 10. Aspect ratios See current availability and resolution-specific prices in the model plaza. BetterToken API does not support search-assisted image generation, including Google Web Search and Image Search grounding. Do not add search tools.
