**MiniMax M3.1 Flash**, released by MiniMax on October 19, focuses on agentic reasoning, coding, and multi-step tool workflows. It is intended for tasks such as implementing features, debugging, and processing documents across several steps.

* **Long context and multimodal input**: MiniMax documents a 1M-token context window and text, image, and video input. Available limits and input types depend on the client and API.
* **Adjustable thinking depth**: MiniMax documents `low`, `medium`, `high`, `xhigh`, and `max` effort levels. Thinking is enabled by default, with `max` as the default level; the official API does not support disabling it.

## Connect it
